Landon is back on top of the IAC!
The Bears rolled to their 33rd league title in program history by dispatching rival Georgetown Prep, 17-6, Friday night. Senior Utah commit Chase Robertson (Utah) paced Landon with four first-half goals.
Junior Bucknell commit Sean Murray went off for a hat trick and two assists for Landon. The four-star MadLax senior tandem of Kevin Miller (Georgetown) and Anthony Panetti (Bucknell) posted matching three-goal, one-assist stat lines.
“Going into the season, we had this underdog mentality,” Panetti told the Washington Post‘s Noah Ferguson. “In the locker room, we knew we had the best team in the IAC. We just had to go out and prove it.”
Four-star senior Johns Hopkins verbal Ciaran McCleary paced Georgetown Prep with a hat trick and an assist.
