A rivalry renewed turned into a classic battle between two neighborhood rivals.
Hunter Kimball (Chaminade, N.Y.) broke a tie with a gorgeous high rip and Dylan Baumgarth (Northport, N.Y.) added the eventual game-winner off the ensuing faceoff as Team 91 Long Island Shock knocked off Long Island Express, 8-7, in the 2025 division title game of the NLF Summer Kickoff.
Express avenged a round-robin loss to Laxachusetts to reach the championship game. For the second straight day, Shock beat Leading Edge, 6-4, to advance to the title game.
