Team 91 Long Island Shock put on a show.
Led by hat tricks from both five-star midfielder Gary Merrill (St. Anthony’s, N.Y.) and four-star attackman Matt Triolo (John Glenn, N.Y.), Team 91 rolled to an 11-7 win over defending national champion Prime Time to take home the 2025 NLF National Championship at Lehigh University.
2026 goalie Patrick Biese (Culver, Ind.) capped his surreal run through the playoffs with another terrific performance. Five-star defender Parker McDonald (St. Anthony’s, N.Y.) and four-star defenseman Joseph Filardi (Half Hollow Hills West, N.Y.) led the defense in front of Biese.
Four-star lefty midfielder Brady Scioletti (Don Bosco Prep, N.J.) paced the 2022 national champs with five goals.
