For the first time since 2013, Fairfield Prep is on top of the Connecticut lacrosse world.

Backed by hat tricks from Eclipse 2024 Tim Shannehan and his younger brother and fellow Boston University commit Luke Shannehan, the Jesuits claimed their first state title in 11 years with a 9-7 over Darien.

Fairfield Prep finished the season on an 18-game winning streak. The elder Shannehan also added a pair of assists for a game-best five points. Air Force verbal Nate Estrella also doled out a pair of helpers to go with a goal. Dartmouth commit George Hawley led a stingy defensive effort from the Jesuits’ defense. Fairfield signee Garrett Keane stopped five shots and Matt Barry (Eclipse) stopped four for the tag team work in the Prep cage.
