Lawrenceville‘s back on top.

There’s been no dropoff this year for the Big Red after they finished the season as the No. 1 team in the country in 2023. Saturday, they rang up their most impressive win of the season, getting two goals apiece from senior Chris Matia (Crabs / Providence) and sophomore Hansen Peck (Team 91 Long Island) en route to a 9-4 win over previously unbeaten Malvern Prep.

Junior defenseman Nick Voultos (Michigan), senior defenseman Harrison Vassel (West Coast Starz / Lehigh) and junior LSM Brock Getson (Harvard) led a stingy defense in front of senior goalie Timmy Piacentini (Cornell), who made 10 saves. Junior faceoff midfielder Alex Swinnie (Express North / Johns Hopkins) won 10 of 16 faceoffs in the win.
