It’s time for the first of what will likely be three games of perhaps the best rivalry in the country.

Top-ranked St. Anthony’s heads to archrival No. 14 Chaminade this Wednesday at 4:30. The Friars and Flyers are all too eager to renew acquaintances to establish Long Island – and beyond – supremacy. St. Anthony’s took the series last year, winning in the title game after the teams split the first two battles.

If the Flyers are going to pull off the upset, Charles Balsamo will likely have something to say about it. The Long Island Express 2022 lefty marksman and Chaminade senior, a Duke signee, leads the 3-1 Flyers with 12 goals and eight assists in five games.

The NLF’s No. 7 player in the class of 2022 joined the NLF Insider Podcast this week to preview the rivalry game. Balsamo talked about what the rivalry means, his senior season, his career with Express and much more. Hit the red banner above to check it out!
