What a way to start the NLF Insider Podcast back up.
We’re back – some are even saying SO BACK – with a vengeance as a pair of class of 2025 five-star prospects join myself and Mike Flanagan on the Season 2 premiere.
Matty Higgins kicks us off. The No. 17 player in the class shares his path from Northern California to starting as a sophomore at MIAA powerhouse Boys’ Latin. He also talks about his time with ADVNC, West Coast Starz and Team 91 Long Island, all of which helped forge him into one of the top players in the country. Higgins also recently committed to Maryland, a decision on which he touches upon in the interview.
We then move it over to Gavin Cooper. The No. 8 player in the class, a defenseman and LSM from Haverford School (Pa.) and Big 4 HHH, discusses his recent commitment to Duke. He still has eyes on following his family’s long military lineage, though, and he’s definitely the first NLF Insider Podcast interviewee to have such an extensive water polo background.
