Cruz was very impressive at the NLF Fall Invitational in November, and he’s continued his upward ascent since then in his first year at St. Joseph’s in New Jersey. That includes a great three-goal, two-assist day in a 10-9 win over Ridgewood. A well-built offensive weapon, he’s incredibly athletic with tremendous change-of-direction ability and straight-line speed. Once he gets out in transition, don’t worry about trying to catch him. It ain’t happening. He can get to the rack with his athleticism and toughness and has vast upside.
