A tough, two-way midfielder, Leland stands out for his workrate on defense, willing to do the physical work and move his feet to keep opponents in front of him. On the offensive end, he’s dangerous off the dodge, can create chances with both hands and has a quick shot release.

Fall 2020 One Percent Showcase Evaluation

All-Star. A well-rounded midfielder, Leland sees the defense well and understands where slides are coming from and where to attack the defense. A slashing dodger, he knifes through small openings and finishes well inside. He was also very good on defense, corralled tough ground balls and cleared the ball well.
