NLF Fall 2021 Rankings
Ranked No. 17 overall, No. 5 attackman
Kabiri dipped a bit from his initial No. 9 ranking, though that’s more about other players vaulting up than him significantly dropping. His shiftiness and change-of-direction ability make him really tough for defensemen to guard. Kabiri pocketed 40 points in nine games for Episcopal en route to a Virginia state title this spring and helped the DC Dogs win the NLF title with a hat trick in the title game.
Kabiri is at or near the top of the Disrespectful Scale in terms of exactly how he racks up the points. One of the flashier players in the class, he’ll try just about anything, and it seems like every one of his goals is Instagram-worthy. He pairs that with excellent vision, and the One Percent Showcase All-Star is still a relative newcomer to attack, which means that he’s got the ability to come out of the box at the next level, too.
NLF March 2021 Super 60 Rankings
Ranked No. 9 overall, No. 3 attackman
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating: 96
A super slick and crafty attackman who was a standout midfielder before bumping up to attack, Kabiri is deadly around the cage. He can make defensemen look silly with his shiftiness and change of direction, he’s a terrific feeder and he’s a pinpoint shooter who knows his range. Kabiri gets top side rather easily, and if he gets his hands free there, it’s over for you. One of the best low-to-high enthusiasts in the class, Kabiri has gamebreaking potential every time he suits up.
One Percent Showcase Evaluation
Another elite midfielder who used to play up with the vaunted Annapolis Hawks ’22 team, Kabiri lived up to the hype. A tall, lanky, athletic midfielder who makes everything look easy, he has an excellent shot and a smooth handle. He had an absolute screamer of high-to-high rocket against the white team, and leaving him open to shoot is foolish. Kabiri also had a particularly slick goal where he went coast-to-coast, dove across the crease and tucked the ball home.

The NLF No. 9 ‘23 did, well, whatever *this* is to lead the @MADLAX1 DC Dogs to a statement win in a battle of two of the country’s top ‘23 teams! pic.twitter.com/qgjFoutffe
