The top-10 battle between No. 3 Brunswick (Conn.) and No. 9 Deerfield (Mass.) wasn’t much of a battle after all.
NLF No. 2 ’23 Leo Hoffman (Team 91 Long Island / Penn) and fellow junior Will Coale (Eclipse) led a balanced Bruins offense with two goals and two assists each in a 14-4 rout. Check out the highlights from The Lacrosse Network!
NLF No. 7 ’23 Tomas Delgado (Prime Time / Duke) scored once and set up two other goals, while NLF No. 10 ’22 Henry Caponiti (Prime Time / Georgetown) dished out three assists as Brunswick overcame an early 2-0 lead to roll. The defensive group of Will Donovan (Notre Dame), sophomore five-star Luke Hublitz (Eclipse), NLF No. 35 junior Hunter Spiess (Princeton) and NLF No. 71 junior Luke Michalik (Prime Time / Yale) made life miserable for Deerfield’s offense.
The teams have a chance to play again in the inaugural Prep Nationals on May 20 and May 22 at Brunswick.
