For the second consecutive year, Lawrenceville will finish atop the NLF High School national rankings.
The Big Red atoned for their lone loss of the season against previously-unbeaten Brunswick, routing the Bears, 14-5, to win the Prep Nationals championship.
Four-star senior Connor Gately (Yale) led Lawrenceville with a hat trick and two assists, while senior Mason Vance (Michigan) netted a hat trick in his final game for the Big Red. Senior Ted Rawson (Ohio State) dished out three assists to go with a goal.
Standout sophomore Hansen Peck (Team 91 Long Island) and four-star senior Mikey Rooney (Long Island Express / Boston University) both tallied a pair of goals, while Sawyer English (Brown) did the same while also setting up another. Senior four-star goalie Timmy Piacentini (Cornell) was exceptional in the cage with 14 stops.
