The game lived up to the hype.
Two of the best teams in the country – also two of the National Lacrosse Federation‘s founding clubs – battled their way through a stacked bracket in the 2025 division at the NLF Summer Kickoff.
It was fitting, too, that Laxachusetts and Team 91 Long Island Shock needed bonus lacrosse to determine a champion. Boston’s finest came through in the extra frame when Tuck Gilbane (Noble and Greenough, Mass.) snatched up a loose ball and unloaded a picture-perfect low-to-high laser into the back of the net for the 7-6 Laxachusetts win.
