Nassau County made it a perfect sweep at the Long Island Championships.
Farmingdale, Garden City, Manhasset and Cold Spring Harbor all took home titles at the LICs to make it a clean sweep over the Suffolk rivals.
In Class C, Manhasset mounted a fourth-quarter comeback against Shoreham-Wading River by tallying six times in the final frame for an 11-6 win. It marked the Indians’ second straight LIC title.
Jack Petersen (Harvard) had three goals and an assist for the Indians, which also got two goals and an assist from Aidan Haggerty (Villanova). Four-star junior Liam Gregorek (Team 91 LI/Navy) paced the Wildcats with a hat trick.
In Class B, Garden City fired home five second-quarter goals to surge past West Islip, 10-6. Lehigh signee Jack Archer had two goals and two assists, while junior Andrew Ottomanelli (LI Express) snapped home a hat trick. Four-star junior Villanova commit Denis Fargione (LI Express) stopped seven shots to secure the win.
