Conservatively speaking, there were at least 30 future Division I players on the field in the class of 2025 championship game at NLF Futures at IMG.

Chances are good that you’ll be seeing some of those names pop up as five-stars in the first NLF 2025 rankings. Many more of them will be tabbed as four-stars in what was an incredibly loaded affair that ended with Team 1 coming away with the win, 7-4.

Team 7 jumped out to a 3-0 lead on the strength of goals from Ty Chouinard (Thayer, Mass. / Laxachusetts), Preston Evans (Belmont Hill, Mass. / Laxachusetts) and Tristan Schaefer (Staples, Conn. / Eclipse)Josh Marcus (Staples, Conn. / Eclipse) was superb in the cage with seven saves.

However, Blue found its mojo in the second half. James Pagano (Commack, N.Y. / Team 91 LI) rocketed home four goals, while Brendan Mullahy (Fairfield Prep, Conn. / Eclipse) pocketed two and had a hand in one of Pagano’s tallies.

Check out the highlights from the championship game at the video above from Mike Flanagan. Check back later this week for 2025 standouts from the event from Matt Chandik.
