The younger brother of Yale ’22 commit Christian Bockelmann, Matthew Bockelmann steps onto the field with bad intentions and a surly disposition and neither of them leaves until the end of the game. The Shore Conference Defensive Specialist of the Year as a sophomore for his play at LSM that helped Leading Edge founder Marc Moreau‘s team to a 20-1 mark, Bockelmann played a ton of close defense for LE in Amherst. He plays with a major edge and is always aggressive in his matchups, constantly pressing out and badgering attackmen. He’s got the stick to clean up ground off the carpet in one fell swoop, too.
