A rare battle between the defending ISL champion and defending MIAA champion lived up to the billing.
Noble & Greenough (Mass.) jumped out to an early lead and looked primed for the upset on the back of a 22-save day from four-star senior Cornell commit Matt Tully.
But Brendan Millon (Team 91 Maryland), one of the top sophomores in the country, beat Tully twice. Millon also set up one of four-star junior Luke Miller‘s (Notre Dame) three goals to help the Eagles defend home turf with an 8-5 win.
